Our MissionAmazingly, there still seems to be some confusion about our project's perceived connection with Homeland Security Policy Institute Group (HSPIG) and their endeavor to erect a Man In The Sea Memorial at the Washington Navy Yard. Without going into a long explanation of the past, let us say this. "The Mark Five Monument project is an endeavor to erect an eleven foot tall bronze/granite JAKE monument to celebrate all graduates of all U.S. Navy Diving Schools. We are not associated with HSPIG in any way. We have determined the most logical place to erect the monument is at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC) in Panama City Florida, where dive-students can pay it homage every day. The eleven(11)foot tall bronze/granite JAKE monument will be placed on a three (3) foot tall pentagon shaped granite base. Each of the five sides will display a bronze seal of one of the five services. The monument will celebrate all graduates, past, present, and future of all U.S. Navy Diving Schools that go down in the sea to work. Divers around the world who have given their life's work to underwater ships husbandry, underwater construction, salvage of ships lost at sea, combat, and clandestine missions. This monument will celebrate their traditions forever. In addition to the monument, in an effort to raise the required funding, we have also contracted to produce for sale, 300 21-inch bronze/granite, certified, serialized, limited edition, exact replicas, of the monument. There will only be 300........ First come first served (see the project status, photo, and testimonial pages). The price of these statuettes is $2,000 each (shipping included CONUS). Considering the cost of a similar bronze statuette ($4,600 plus shipping), this is a great price for a piece of history. We have just arrange the capability to accept your VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER Card, or MASTERCARD as payment.
